Technical debt? Oh, we’re immune to this, we’re Agile!” Really? Agile projects can actually accumulate technical debt faster and be dragged down by architectural debt for years — sometimes more than more traditional, less iterative projects. In this talk, I will explore technical debt and sort out myths from realities, going beyond the original simple financial metaphor. I’ll look at how software development organizations can effectively manage their technical debt — from its identification, analysis, to reduction, or even prevention.
