Abstract/Description

In this event, we turn towards the future of XP and Agile technical practices in a panel with some expert practitioners who are moving the industry forward in a variety of ways.

What elements should XP change to adapt to the rapid evolution of socio-technical systems?

In a previous session, we explored the history of Agile with a group of technologists who shaped the early days of Extreme Programming (XP) and Agile. At our FREE Members-only September event, we looked towards the future of XP and Agile technical practices in a panel with some expert practitioners who are moving the industry forward in a variety of ways. We discussed how XP is being applied today, and what elements need to adapt and change to move forward into a “New Age of XP”.

What are Agile Tech Talks?

Formerly known as deliver:Agile, Agile Tech Talks are a series of (free for Members) monthly virtual sessions that explore technical topics and focus on how to support Agile practitioners and grow good Agile engineering practices in remote settings. We’re keeping the spirit of the deliver:Agile conference, and turning it into an ongoing series of talks and workshops throughout the year. Learn more
