PORTLAND, Ore., April 15, 2014 — Today Agile Alliance announces the program for AGILE2015, the largest international gathering of Agilists. The conference is widely considered the premiere event for the advancement of Agile software development.

“This year we received more than 1,200 submissions for 200 speaking slots,” said Paul Hammond, AGILE2015 conference chair. “It was challenging to narrow down the selection because there were so many fantastic proposals. We are extremely proud of the program that has been assembled this year. It showcases a diverse, talented group of thought leaders in the Agile community who will share their passion and advance the use of cutting-edge Agile practices at the team level and throughout the enterprise.”

Last year the conference drew nearly 2,000 Agilists from 40 countries who learned from and collaborated with recognized Agile experts, authors and innovators.

AGILE2015, scheduled for August 3-7 in Washington, D.C., is expected to draw 2,200 attendees.

Agile Alliance organizes the annual North American Agile Conference, the industry’s leading event that attracts worldwide practitioners, academia, business, and vendor-partner community members.
