Three years ago, a group of Agile practitioners in India wanted to create a platform for software professionals from different organizations to share their experiences with Software development methodologies. We formed the Agile Software Community of India (ASCI), a registered, non-profit organization. ASCI evangelizes itself to be a facilitating body which fosters and innovates lightweight methodologies. Since its formation, ASCI has organized five conferences and supported various Agile User Groups in different cities of India. My hope in standing for election to the board is that, with the help of Agile Alliance we can connect different networks of Agile Practitioners across the world and build a global community. As a board member I would focus on People, Simplicity, Interactions and Collaborations.
